Hawke's Bay Radiology is the leading provider of private radiology services to New Zealand's East Coast regions. It is one of four North Island radiology companies owned by TRG Group.

We provide high quality medical imaging services to our region with purpose-built sites centrally located in Hastings and Napier, supplying oversight, management and film reporting services to general practitioners and specialists within the region. We also provide film reporting services for The Doctors Napier and The Doctors Hastings. Hawke's Bay Radiology has taken over the management of Gisborne Radiology Ltd.

We offer a comprehensive breast screening and assessment service for the national screening programme, BreastScreen Aotearoa, as well as providing a private mammography programme and contracting to the Hawke's Bay DHB to provide community referred breast imaging services.

Our region reaches from Te Araroa, in the north, to Wairoa (covered by Gisborne Radiology), and from Wairoa to Waipukurau, in the south (covered by Hawke's Bay Radiology). The region has a population base of approximately 180,000 people, and approximately 200 referring doctors, midwives, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.

Hawke's Bay Radiology has been providing services to our community since the early 1950s. In 1997, we successfully attained International Accreditation with IANZ followed by accreditation in mammography with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). 

Our entire team, including our three radiologists, remain dedicated to ongoing professional quality and development and regularly attend training courses both in New Zealand and overseas.  All are registered with the appropriate New Zealand registration boards.
